Umami analytics

We use a self-hosted Umami analytics instance to count page views and understand broad patterns such as referral source, browser, device type, and country. The tracker does not use analytics cookies. We have enabled Do Not Track support and exclude URL query strings and fragments from analytics.

We also record a small number of interaction events, such as starting to read and downloading the free study sample. We do not send names, email addresses, or the text you read in these events. Analytics data is stored in our Umami instance and kept until we delete it.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the pages through heatmaps and limited session diagnostics. Clarity may process page URLs, clicks, scrolling, and page structure. Microsoft says sensitive content is masked by default.

We send Clarity a default-denied consent signal for analytics and advertising storage. This keeps Clarity cookies disabled; Microsoft describes this as limited tracking, with visits treated as separate page views rather than a continuous cross-page journey. We do not show a consent pop-up.

Support chat

The Crisp support widget is prepared but is not active until its separate workspace is connected. It will load in the background and will not open a conversation by itself.

Reading preferences

Reading progress and display preferences are saved in your browser so you can continue where you left off. They are not sent to the analytics service.
